For image files (JPG, PNG, etc.), all metadata scanning is performed entirely in your browser. Your images are NEVER uploaded to our servers, ensuring complete privacy.

Document Files (Server-Side Processing)

For complex documents (Word, Excel, PPT, PDF), files are temporarily uploaded to our servers for processing:

• Files are scanned for metadata using specialized libraries
• Results are returned to your browser immediately
• Cleaned files are available for download (if you choose cleaning)
• Original and cleaned files are automatically deleted within 24 hours

⏰ Data Retention Policy

We implement automatic cleanup to minimize data storage:

• Temp files: Deleted within 1 hour
• Image previews: Deleted within 1 hour
• Cleaned files: Deleted within 24 hours
